Ranchi: On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi the AJSU party will be organizing Swaraj Swabhimaan Janadesh Yatra in all the Vidhan Sabha areas of the state.
Party’s central spokesperson Dr Devsharan Bhagat said that through this programme the party will try to spread the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagwan Birsa Munda among the people of the state. He said that the party has always celebrated the birth anniversary of Bapu as an occasion to spread his thoughts and ideals.
He said that in 2013 a human chain was formed from Barhi to Behragora over the demand of status of special states while on October 2, 2018 the party had started the Swaraj Swabhimaan Yatra which travelled around 2000 villages in which party supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto had participated and interacted with the people.
He said that the party is of the view that all sections in the state as per their population should get their representation for which the party has been struggling for the last many years.
