
Ranchi: The incessant rainfall which has been pounding the state capital of Ranchi and other districts of the state for the last four days has thrown normal life out of gear in Jharkhand.
On Saturday also it rained in many districts due to which in Rajdhanwar of Giridih at Paharpur a bridge collapsed while on the other hand as stones fell upon the railway tracks between Nath Ganj and Dilwah of Gomoh as a result of which train traffic movement was hit in the section, on the other hand, the weather department has also projected more rains on Sunday.
The various areas of the state capital have been receiving rainfall for the last four days and even on Saturday at regular intervals rainfall was reported due to which problems of waterlogging was reported from many areas.
Due to the rains, the markets were adversely hit despite Durga Puja commencing from Sunday and the sudden dip in the temperature has also increased the line of the patients outside the chambers of the doctors.
Due to the the damage of bridge built on Paharpur river of Rajdhanwar the traffic movement on the bridge has been completely stop as a result of which 10 villages have been adversely impacted and to reach to the main city they have to travel a distance of 25 km whereas due to the bridge they had to travel just 5 kilometers.
Meanwhile, a report from Dhanbad said that in the ground level of the PMCH Hospital water has got inside due to which patients and the hospital staff had to face a tough time, even at the Asian Jalan Hospital located at Bartand water had got inside the hospital.
