Women Special City Bus Flagged off in capital

Ranchi: Much for the delight of the women of the capital a special city bus service was flagged off.

Ranchi Mayor Asha Lakra, deputy mayor Sanjeev Vijayvargyee and Town Commissioner Manoj Kumar flagged off the bus from Kutchury Chowk.

The bus will travel from Kutchary chowk to Albert Ekka Chowk and end at Rajendra Chowk. Post the start of the bus service the women had a sigh of relief as in other buses due to crowd they had to face many problems.

Speaking on the occasion the mayor said that realizing the problems of the women this special bus service has been started. She said that depending on the number of passengers the number of buses will also be increased.

Further, the service of the city bus has been also extended between Kutchury Chowk to Rajendra Chowk enabling the people to travel a distance of about five kilometers at cost of just Rs 5.
