Guv expresses delight over regular academic sessions in universities

Ranchi: Jharkhand Governor cum Chancellor of Universities of the state Draupadi Murmu has expressed her delight over the regular academic sessions in the varieties of the state.

She said that it was extremely satisfying to note that the admissions have been done in the universities on time and even the results have been declared on their due date.

The regularisation of the academic session in the universities of the state is a historic achievement as the state in legacy had received late academic session from the days of unified Bihar.

The Governor also expressed her delight over the progress of work being done by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission in the area of promotions and hoped that soon work in this regard will be completed and also directed to complete the issue of backlog vacancy will be addressed.

She said that from the next academic session admission in the Universities and declaration of results should be done through the chancellor portal only.

She also directed to get the valuation done by NAC of all the universities in the state and hoped that they would get better grades.
