Double engine government has stopped development of Jharkhand: Marandi

Dumka: JVM(P) supremo and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi said that the double engine government has stopped the development process of Jharkhand.

Addressing a party function here he said that there was a need to remove Raghubar Das government during the Vidhan Sabha elections in the state as it was working in the interest of the corporate houses.

He said that in the entire state the condition of roads health agriculture irrigation and employment was pathetic and pointed that in the last five year dozens of people have died due to hunger. He said that farmers were committing suicide and in the name of providing economic help to the farmers, the government was actually misleading them.

He said that instead of improving the facilities of irrigation and providing them better facilities the BJP was turning the farmers into beggars and pointed that despite the claims of the Chief Minister regarding improving the irrigation facilities actually the farmers were staring at crop losses every year.
