Ranchi: The leading milk cooperative organization in the state has decided to increase the prices of milk which is marketed under the brand name of Medha by Re 1.
People will now have to pay Rs 22 for 500ml pack of Medha Shakti Special Milk, Rs 43 for Medha Shakti Special Milk for one-litre pack and Rs 21 for 500 ml of cow’s milk, however, the cost of the double toned milk, toned, and Medha Shakti milk has not been increased.
According to the milk federation since the cost of production has increased therefore it has been decided to increase the cost of the milk.
