Personnel and Administrative Reforms issues clarification after fake letter goes viral

Ranchi: The Personnel Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha department issued a clarification as a fake letter went viral claiming that the retirement age of the government employees has been increased to 62 years.

The so-called letter which was written by Additional Chief Secretary Personnel Department KK Khandelwal said that the retirement age of government employees will be increased 60-62.

The department claimed that it had not issued any such letter. It said that the common people government employees and others who might be influenced by this letter for them it is being officially clarified that it was a baseless and fake letter.
