Godda: A woman committed suicide at Bhandaridih village under Mahgama Police Station area of this district.
The deceased has been identified as Phulan Devi (27). Police said that the husband of the woman works in New Delhi.
On Saturday a heated argument took place between the couple over phone following which she consumes insecticides and committed suicide. Later police were informed which sent the body for postmortem.
Villagers said that the husband of the woman suspected her of having an extramarital affair due to which the couple often use to quarrel with each other.
