Simdega: A 10 year old child lost his life as he fell into a well located at Simdega College premises in the city.
Police said that a couple of children James and Vikram were playing near the well when accidentally James slipped and fell into the well. His cousin also jumped into the well to save him but could not after which he raised an alarm.
Soon people gathered and took out both the children from the well. James was taken to Sadar Hospital where he was declared dead by the doctors.
The deceased was a student of class three of a private school.
