Couple of youths dead in Giridih as speeding bike hits tree

Giridih: Couple of youths lost their lives as a motorcycle on which they were traveling rammed onto a tree under Pirtand Police Station area of this district.

Police said that the incident took place on Narayanpur-Sariya Road. Both the youth were coming from Khudisar and the bike was being driven at a high speed when suddenly the driver lost control at Dubedih Mode and rammed into the tree.

Such was the impact of the incident that both of them died on the spot. Later upon receiving information a police team reached on the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital.

One of the deceased has been identified as Sudhan Sahu of Sahanbad of Khukhra Police Station area while the identity of another has not been ascertained.
