Two can bombs and 40 gelatin recovered in Chatra

Chatra: Security personnel has recovered couple of IEDs during a search operation which was conducted in Baniyadih Forest located under Rajpur Police Station area of this district.

Police officials said that to inflict damage on the security forces the Maoists had planted the can bombs as they are celebrating the Martyrdoom Week. However, a team of the district police and the CRPF managed to find the can bombs one among which weighed 20 kilograms and another was of 10 kilograms.

40 gelatins were also recovered from the spot. Later the bombs were defused by the bomb disposal squad.
