Ranchi: In a repeat of action of the previous two days yet again high drama was witnessed inside the Jharkhand Assembly on the last day of the Monsoon Session as opposition members protested not only inside the house and also outside in support of their various demands.

The atmosphere inside the house once again got heated up over the issue of alleged commission being demanded by MD of Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd for getting the bills passed as MCC MLA from Nirsa Arup Chatterjee had moved a work adjournment motion over the issue which was rejected by the speaker following which the opposition members created an uproar after which the house was adjourned till 1200hrs.

After the house reassembled discussion was held on call attention motion, while on the other hand speaker ordered for a probe for the fourth occasion on the illegal recruitments of 435 para teachers in Palamu. Mr Oraon also formed a committee of the Vidhan Sabha to look into the matter which has been instructed to submit its report by the end of September.

On this issue following the report of the DDC the government had decided to release these para teachers from work. The speaker ordered that unless the report is submitted by the committee no action should be taken on the para teachers.

Earlier before the house proceedings commenced the MLAs of the JMM protested outside the assembly demanding probe in the number of scams which has taken place under the present government. The MLAs who wore the posters carrying a list of scams which has taken place also indulged in slogan shouting in favour of their demands. In another incident under JMM leader Kanhaiya Choubey, many people sat on Dharna outside the Vidhan Sabha demanding that their tribal land be removed from the grip of the powerful men in Bhawnathpur area.
