Simdega: Police has arrested four criminals for abducting a teacher in this district who were also forwarded to jail.
Addressing a press conference today SDPO Rajkishore said post the abduction of contractor cum teacher Upendra Narayan Singh multiple police teams started conducting raids during which the abductors were nabbed while they were trying to flee in a SUV.
The arrested have been identified as Deepak Kumar Sahu and Pawan Kumar of Gumla district Tarzan Kumar and Pawan Kumar of Chatra district. The SDPO said that the arrested have confessed to their crime. They had plans to take a ransom of Rs 10 lakh from the abductee's family and later also had plans to kill him.
