Dhanbad: Police has arrested three criminals along with more than 100 grams of heroin in this district.
Briefing the press Dhanbad SSP Kishore Kaushal said he had received a secret tip off regarding heroin trade in the city after a team under DSP Mukesh Kumad was formed which conducted raids at Golf Grounds and arrested three men.
From their possession, a total of 102 grams of heroin, two motorcycles and three mobile phones were seized. The SSP said that the arrested included Sahzad Qureshi, Amit Singh a s Shivaji Singh.
He said that cost of the drugs is expected to be around Rs 5 lakh and assured that police will reach to the entire supplier-purchaser chain.
