Koderma: A woman along with her five month old infant was killed for dowry at Kumhartoli under Markacho Police Station area of this district.
The deceased has been identified as Aarti Devi. The father of the deceased alleged that three years ago the girl was married and since initial days his daughter was exploited by her husband and in-laws for dowry.
He said that on many occasions panchayat was also held in the village buy things did not improve. He said that villagers informed him that his daughter and her son had been murdered after which he rushed to her in-laws place.
Upon reaching the home he found the bodies of her daughter and her son while all the members of the house had fled
