Ramgarh District Bar Association Gets New G+3 Building, Jharkhand HC Judge Lays Foundation Stone

The foundation stone for a proposed G+3 building of the Ramgarh District Bar Association was laid at the civil court complex in Ramgarh during a formal ceremony attended by senior judicial, administrative and police officials.

Jharkhand High Court Judge and Ramgarh district's zonal judge, Justice Deepak Roshan, was the chief guest at the event. He unveiled the foundation stone and formally laid the foundation for the multi-storey advocates' association building.

The programme was organised around the theme of strengthening the legal system and highlighted messages such as "Justice is not only a right but also a responsibility" and "Empowered lawyers, empowered justice, empowered society". Guests were welcomed with saplings as a gesture of respect.

Justice Deepak Roshan, accompanied by his wife Sarika Bhushan, highlighted the important role played by lawyers in ensuring an effective and responsive justice system.

He said advocates form an important pillar of the judicial system and play a crucial role in helping people secure accessible, timely, transparent and fair relief. He stressed that providing lawyers with a better working environment and modern infrastructure has become an important requirement.

The proposed G+3 building is expected to provide advocates with dedicated facilities for sitting, legal study and day-to-day professional work. It is also expected to strengthen the infrastructure supporting judicial activities in Ramgarh district.

Principal District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Taufeeq-ul Hasan stressed the importance of coordination between the Bench and the Bar. He said effective cooperation between judicial officers and advocates can help make the justice delivery process more accessible and efficient for the public.

He congratulated the members of the District Bar Association on the foundation stone ceremony and expressed confidence that the new infrastructure would further strengthen the functioning of the judicial system.

Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Rituraj said the district administration was committed to maintaining close coordination with the judiciary. He described advocates as an important link between the court and the people and said the new building would make professional work more convenient for local lawyers as well as advocates and litigants coming from distant areas.

He assured that the district administration would extend necessary administrative and technical support to facilitate the timely and quality construction of the building.

Ramgarh Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, Principal Judge of the Family Court Rajiv Anand, Additional District and Sessions Judge-I Vishal Srivastava, judicial officers, office-bearers of the Ramgarh District Bar Association, administrative and police officials, and a large number of advocates attended the programme.

The event concluded with the organisers expressing gratitude to the chief guest, other dignitaries and members of the legal fraternity for their presence.
