BJP claims victory for NDA on all 4 seats, Cong & JMM says people voted for UPA

Ranchi: The state BJP claimed that the NDA is going to win on all the four Lok Sabha seats of the state including Giridih, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur and Singhbhum (ST) were polling came to an end while on the other hand the Congress and JMM said that people had shown their faith in the UPA.

Addressing a press conference at the state headquarters here party general secretary Deepak Prakash said despite the extreme hot weather conditions people in large number have turned up at the polling booths to strengthen the nation and further push the development programmes in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the opposition has already lost the battle in the state due to which its leaders were using unparliamentary language against the other leaders . Mr Prakash went on to claim that even workers from the opposition parties are voting for Narendra Modi as they also want a strong nation. He said that there was no doubt that NDA will win all the 14 Lok Sabha seats of the state.

JMM general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya expressed his gratitude towards the knowledgeable voters of the state for casting their votes in favour of the Mahagathbandhan. He said that after seeing the response of the people leaders of world’s largest party are now doing Nukkad Sabhas in the state. He said that the voter turn out of 65.17 per cent was recorded in this phase and claimed that Chief Minister Raghubar Das has himself been rejected in his home constituency. Mr Bhattacharya said that the people of Kolhan and Koyelanchal have given a befitting reply to divisive forces. On the other hand JPCC spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey said that the manner in which the voting percentage has increased in the state shows that people want to remove BJP from power and claimed that Mahagathbandhan will win all the four seats were polling concluded today.

He said that in this phase state BJP president Laxamn Giluwa was also set to be defeated while former Chief Minister Arjun Munda will surely lose in Khunti. He asked the BJP whether it will appoint a new state president or will go into the last round of elections with a losing president.
