The Jharkhand BJP held its monthly meeting of state office-bearers at the party's state headquarters in Ranchi on Tuesday, with discussions focusing on organisational matters and preparations for upcoming programmes.
Senior party leaders, state office-bearers and presidents of various BJP fronts attended the meeting. State BJP president Aditya Prasad Sahu, Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi and organisation general secretary Karmveer Singh were among those present.
Before the meeting began, Sahu welcomed BJP national secretary Pradeep Verma with a bouquet and an angavastram and congratulated him on his new organisational responsibility.
Speaking about his new role, Verma said he would make every effort to live up to the trust placed in him by the party and discharge his responsibilities with commitment.
He stressed the need to further strengthen the organisation and improve coordination with party workers, particularly at the grassroots level.
The monthly meeting also reviewed various organisational issues and discussed preparations for upcoming party programmes and activities.
Leaders also deliberated on ways to further strengthen the party's organisational structure down to the booth level and improve coordination among different levels of the organisation.
The meeting assumes significance as the state BJP continues to focus on strengthening its grassroots network and organisational preparedness for upcoming political activities.
