Ganesh Puja Delegation Invites CM Hemant Soren to Ranchi Festival

A joint delegation representing various Ganesh Puja committees under the Shri Ganesh Puja Ranchi Mahanagar Zila Mahasamiti met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi on Thursday and invited him to attend the upcoming Ganesh Mahotsav-2026.

During the courtesy meeting, the delegation apprised Soren of the preparations being made for the festival and shared details of the proposed programme and arrangements.

The delegation formally invited the Chief Minister to join the celebrations and sought his presence at the festival, which is expected to bring together devotees and community members at various Ganesh Puja venues across Ranchi.

Soren welcomed the delegation and extended his best wishes for the successful organisation of Ganesh Mahotsav-2026.

The Chief Minister said religious and cultural festivals have an important role in strengthening social harmony, unity and a sense of brotherhood. He also expressed hope that the celebrations would be conducted with enthusiasm while maintaining mutual respect and harmony among different sections of society.

The meeting was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji and members of the Shri Ganesh Puja Ranchi Mahanagar Zila Mahasamiti, including Nand Kishore Singh Chandel, Vikram Singh Sonu, Sandeep Mukherjee, Rahul Singh, Vicky Verma, Tunna Singh, Lakhan Kumar, Vinay Singh, Sagar, Sheela Oraon, Kavita Verma, Archana Mirdha, Rekha Sao, Neelu Singh, Manjula Bera, Aman Thakur, Surajbhan Singh, Sahil, Rohan Singh Ricky, Amit Singh Chandel, Jeetu Arora, Naresh Makkar Mishoo, Gulshan Nanda and others.
