CM Hemant Soren Invited to Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations in Ranchi

A delegation of the Shri Krishna Janmotsav Ayojan Samiti, Morabadi, met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi on Saturday and invited him to attend the committee's upcoming Janmashtami celebrations as the chief guest.

The delegation invited the Chief Minister to participate in the 'Bal Gopal' programme scheduled for September 3 and the grand celebrations at Morabadi Maidan on September 4. The September 4 programme will feature a Dahi Handi breaking competition, a bhajan evening and a Raslila performance.

The committee members told Hemant Soren that preparations are underway for a grand celebration of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, continuing the tradition of organising various cultural and religious programmes in Ranchi every year.

The Dahi Handi competition is expected to be one of the main attractions of the celebrations, alongside devotional music and Raslila, giving devotees and residents an opportunity to participate in the festivities.

Members of the delegation included Chief Patron Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, President Vinod Gop, Patrons Dr Rajesh Gupta and Dr Kumar Raja, Secretary Rohit Singh, Working President Rahul Kittu Singh, General Secretary Manoj Gupta and Joint Secretary Narendra Singh, among others.
