Preparations by the Jharkhand Congress for the Tribal Unity Maha-Jutan rally scheduled to be held in Ranchi on August 30 have gained momentum. Congress in-charge of Jharkhand and permanent invitee to the Congress Working Committee, K. Raju, will also reach Ranchi on a one-day visit to participate in the rally.
According to Jharkhand Pradesh Congress General Secretary and Media Department Coordinator Lal Kishore Nath Shahdeo, K. Raju will leave Hyderabad at 9.10 am and is scheduled to reach Ranchi at around 11 am.
His main engagement during the visit will be the Tribal Unity Maha-Jutan rally at Morabadi Maidan, scheduled for 1 pm. The event is expected to bring together members and supporters of the tribal community and provide a platform to highlight issues concerning tribal rights, identity and social unity.
After attending the rally, K. Raju will leave Ranchi for Delhi at 8.35 pm, bringing his brief visit to the state capital to an end.
The Congress said that the visit has been planned primarily around his participation in the rally. His presence is also expected to give added importance to the party's mobilisation efforts ahead of the upcoming political activities in Jharkhand.
