Deoghar District Cricket Association Blood Donation Camp Collects 32 Units

The Deoghar District Cricket Association organised a blood donation camp at its office at KKN Stadium on Tuesday, with association officials, cricketers and their family members coming forward to support the initiative. The camp resulted in the collection of 32 units of blood.

Association secretary Vijay Jha, along with Virendra Singh, Sanjay Malviya, Neeraj Sinha, Iftikhar Sheikh, Rajesh Kumar, Alok Rajhans, Subhash Mishra, Amit Soni, Pankaj Sharma, Sunny Sanyal, Kishan Falhari, Abhishek Anand and Tarun Kumar, actively participated in organising the programme.

Among the association members who donated blood were Vijay Jha, Iftikhar Sheikh, Rajesh Kumar, Alok Kumar Rajhans, Kishan Falhari, Subhash Mishra and Abhishek Anand. Other donors included Ajay Kumar Yadav, Chandan Mishra, Amod Kumar Mandal, Himanshu Kumar, Amit, Rajaram Singh, Satyam Singh, Shashank, Durgesh Nandan, John Marandi, Satyajagat, Prafull Kumar Yadav, Pankaj Jaiswal, Karu Manjhi, Jeet Ramani, Anuj Bhardwaj, Pawan, Manoj, Raghav Parashar, Shivesh Kesari, Kumar Sumit, Siddharth, Arnav, Madhugiri Pandey, Rehan Sheikh and Amit Kumar.

The initiative highlighted the association’s efforts to contribute to the community beyond the cricket field. The participation of players, officials and their family members also helped underline the importance of voluntary blood donation and the role such drives can play in supporting patients in need.

Vijay Jha thanked all the donors and everyone involved in making the camp successful. He also expressed his gratitude to the Civil Surgeon, medical officers of the blood bank and its staff for extending their cooperation and support during the programme.
