

RANCHI: The Inner Wheel Club of Ranchi South (District 325, Charter No. 5663) organised a series of community service and branding activities on July 1, 2026, combining environmental conservation with the recognition of distinguished professionals.
Under Project No. 01 in the Environment category, club members carried out a tree plantation drive at Nepal House, planting 11 saplings of Peepal, Neem, Gulmohar, Vermilion (Sindoor) and other native species. The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage a greener future.
As part of Project No. 02, organised under the Branding category to mark Doctors' Day, the club felicitated Dr. Shaily Poddar, a well-known dental surgeon at Perfect 32 Clinic, in recognition of her dedicated service to healthcare and society.


The club also celebrated its Charter Day through Project No. 03, during which Chartered Accountant K. C. Tak was honoured for his professional excellence and contribution to society.
All three programmes witnessed enthusiastic participation from 13 club members, including President Ranjana Shukla, Immediate Past President (IPP) Neelam Lalit, Secretary Lajoji, Shweta, Annu, Suman, Rajni, Kanti Pandey, Shilpy, Baljeet, Poonam, Maya Verma, Sangeeta Sharan, and Puja.
Speaking on the occasion, club members reaffirmed their commitment to promoting environmental protection while recognising professionals whose work contributes significantly to society. They said such initiatives strengthen community engagement and reflect the Inner Wheel Club's continued dedication to service above self.
