140 Educators Receive Training in Modern Teaching Techniques and Quality Education Practices

Deoghar: A three-day capacity building programme for teachers commenced at Geeta Devi DAV Public School, Bhandarkola. The programme is being organised under the joint aegis of the Regional Training Centre, Jharkhand Zone-B, and DAV CMC, DAV CAE.The programme began with a welcome address by teacher Sanniva Patandi. Principal Mohammad Mustafa Majid welcomed Prerna Shankhdhar, Principal of B.N. Saha DAV Public School, Bulaki Road, Giridih, by presenting her with a sapling. The training programme was formally inaugurated with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
Addressing the participants, Principal Mohammad Mustafa Majid emphasised the importance of continuous learning and professional development. He said teachers must constantly update their knowledge and skills and effectively implement the insights gained through training in their classrooms for the benefit of students. He noted that such programmes play a vital role in enhancing teachers’ competencies and ensuring quality education.Prerna Shankhdhar said that teachers are the backbone of society and that students always look to them for knowledge and quality instruction. She urged educators to further strengthen their teaching practices and work towards achieving learning outcomes effectively so that DAV students can be empowered through quality education.
A total of 140 teachers from Geeta Devi DAV Public School, Bhandarkola and Castairs Town, Deoghar, as well as B.N. Saha DAV Public School, Bulaki Road and Sirsiya, Giridih, are participating in the programme. Training sessions were conducted in English, Hindi, Mathematics, ICT, EVS, Social Science, History, Civics, Geography, Political Science, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Physical Education, Sanskrit and Library Science.
Resource persons introduced participants to innovative teaching methodologies through interactive activities, group discussions and practical demonstrations. Teachers actively participated in the sessions, shared their experiences and described the programme as highly beneficial.
