Bihar Minister and Jharkhand IG Offer Prayers at Baba Baidyanath Temple

Deoghar: Deoghar’s world-famous Baba Baidyanath Temple witnessed the arrival of Bihar Minister Lakhendra Kumar Raushan and Jharkhand IG A. Vijayalakshmi on Saturday. Both dignitaries visited the temple to offer prayers and seek blessings.On reaching the shrine, temple priests welcomed the guests with traditional rituals. The minister and the IG later entered the sanctum sanctorum and performed special worship at the temple amid a devotional atmosphere.After the prayers, Bihar’s Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Minister Lakhendra Kumar Raushan said that visiting the holy city of Baba Baidyanath gave him a deep sense of spiritual peace. He said devotees who come to the temple with true faith are blessed with the fulfillment of their wishes. He also prayed for the welfare and prosperity of Bihar, Jharkhand and the country.
Jharkhand IG A. Vijayalakshmi also offered prayers at the temple and sought blessings for peace, happiness and prosperity in the state and across the nation.Following the rituals, both dignitaries toured the temple premises and learned about its historical and spiritual significance. Tight security arrangements were maintained throughout the visit.
