Seven Councillors Given Responsibility as Zonal Chairpersons

Deoghar. The process of electing Zonal Chairpersons in the Municipal Corporation was completed under the chairmanship of Mayor Ravi Kumar Raut. During the process, seven councillors were selected for seven zones in the presence of Municipal Commissioner Rohit Sinha. The election was conducted peacefully.
Each zone of the Municipal Corporation consisted of five wards. The candidate who secured the support of three councillors was elected as the Chairperson of that zone. After the election, Sandeep Kumar Vishwakarma was selected from Zone 1, Manju Devi from Zone 2, Mrityunjay Kumar Raut from Zone 3, Kiran Kumari from Zone 4, Arpana Jha from Zone 5, Amaresh Kumar Jyoti from Zone 6 and Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary from Zone 7 as Zonal Chairpersons. The selected Zonal Chairpersons will now monitor development schemes in their respective areas and play an active role in solving local issues. This is expected to accelerate development work in different wards of the Municipal Corporation.Along with this, Mohammad Sarwar Sheikh and Anoj Kumar Rao were selected for the District Planning Committee. The Municipal Corporation administration believes that this new arrangement will strengthen the implementation of development schemes and provide better civic facilities to the public.
This election is being considered an important step towards making the local administration more effective. It is expected that under the leadership of the newly elected representatives, development work in the municipal area will gain momentum.
