Inner Wheel Club established breastfeeding room at Khadgada Bus Stand inaugurated 

Ranchi: In a major initiative to honour women and motherhood, the Inner Wheel Club of Ranchi South has established a modern and secure breastfeeding room at Ranchi’s Khadgada Bus Stand.

The facility aims to provide mothers with a dignified and comfortable space to breastfeed their infants while traveling or waiting at the public transport hub.

The breastfeeding room was formally inaugurated by Gautam Prasad Sahu, Deputy Administrator of Ranchi Municipal Corporation, in the presence of club president Neelam Lalit, secretary, and other club members. Speaking at the occasion, President Neelam Lalit remarked, “This room is a tribute to motherhood. Every mother, especially while traveling, deserves access to such a facility.”
 

The room has been equipped with clean and secure seating, access to drinking water, and essential infant care amenities to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for mothers and their babies.

The Inner Wheel Club of Ranchi South has long been dedicated to the welfare of women and children, and this initiative marks another step in fulfilling that commitment.

Those who were present in the program were club members  Angela Saraf, Ranjana Shukla, Sunita Yadav, Baljeet, Sunita Sharma, Lajo, Shilpi, Sumita, Sangeeta Lal, Editor-Reeta, Ragini, Jyoti and others.
