Ranchi: The code of conduct ended on June 6 after almost three months across the country including Jharkhand.

After which the process of transfer posting has started in Jharkhand Police.

Keeping in view the law and order situation, transfer posting of police station officers is being done by the SPs of the districts.

First of all, on Friday, 16 police officials including two inspectors were transferred in Pakur district.

On Saturday also, three sub-inspector rank police officers were transferred in Simdega district.

In the coming days, police officers will be transferred on a large scale in many districts.

With the announcement of Lok Sabha elections on March 16, the Model Code of Conduct came into force.
