Ranchi: NEET-UG exam was held on Sunday. NEET UG examination was conducted at 21 centers in Ranchi. In which such candidates were identified who had reached the examination centre in someone else's name. Ranchi Police has arrested six youths in this case. The identity photos of these youths did not match with the biometric attendance of the candidates. After which all the candidates were arrested.
Two fake candidates have been caught from DPS examination centre, one each from Sarala Birla School, Cambrian Public School Kanke, DAV Bariatu and DAV Dhurwa. Asif, the youth arrested from DAV Bariatu, is a resident of Siwan. He had come to take the exam in place of Priyanshu. The name of the youth caught from DPS is Vikas.
More than 50 people from across the country have been caught in the NEET-UG examination, which includes many MBBS students. However, NTA has denied that the paper was leaked.
