JAC 10th board result released, 90.39 percent students passed

Ranchi:  Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the result of Secondary Board Examination (10th Board). 90.39 percent of children have achieved success in the matriculation examination. This year 4 lakh 21 thousand 687 students had registered. This included 1, 91,262 boys and 2, 00,549 girls. Whereas 418623 candidates had appeared in the examination.

Of these, 3, 38,398 (90.39 percent) have passed. Whereas 2, 05,110 candidates (54.20 percent) passed in first division, 1, 53,733 (40.65 percent) passed in second division and 19,555 (5.17 percent) passed in third division. This year, girls have won the board exams. 91 percent girls and 89.7 percent boys have been successful in the examination. Jamshedpur's result was the best at 94 percent.

Deoghar had the worst performance with 84.5 percent. Earlier, the result in matriculation examination in 2023 was 95.38 percent and in 2022 the result was 91.19 percent.

JAC Chairman Anil Mahato, Secretary in-charge of Education Department Umashankar Singh, Director of Secondary Education Utkarsh Gupta, Jharkhand Academic Council Chairman Dr. Anil Kumar Mahato and Secretary SD Tigga were present on the occasion.

All the candidates included in the top 3 in the 10th board exam are from Indira Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Hazaribagh. Jyotsna Jyoti has become the state topper with 99.2 percent marks. Sana Sanjuri was the second state topper with 98.6 percent marks and Karishma Kumari and Shristi Soumyal were the third state toppers with 98.4 percent marks.

There are 44 students in the top 10 list. The Class 10th examination was held from 6th February to 26th February. This time 4 lakh 21 thousand 687 candidates appeared in the board examination. A total of 1,238 examination centres were created for the board examination. About the year 2023, JAC 10th exam was held from 14 March to 3 April. 1225 examination centres were made for the 10th examination. Whereas 4.34 lakh candidates had appeared in the examination.
