ED to interrogate Antu Tirkey, Priyaranjan Sahay, Vipin Singh and Irshad on remand, court gives permission

Ranchi:  The four accused arrested by ED in the land scam case will be interrogated for five days.  The court has given permission for this. Earlier on Wednesday, when the ED team reached the Ranchi PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) special court along with Antu Tirkey, Priyaranjan Sahay, Vipin Singh and Irshad, the court had sent all the accused to judicial custody.

During this time, the agency had sought remand of all the accused for seven days for questioning, on which a debate was held on Thursday. On Tuesday, ED took Antu Tirkey, Priyaranjan Sahay, Vipin Singh and Irshad to the ED office late in the evening after a raid and long interrogation, where they were arrested.

Everyone has been arrested in the land scam case related to former Chief Minister Hemant Soren. ED has found a lot of strong evidence against everyone. Recently, Mohammed Saddam, the mastermind of making fake deeds, was taken on remand and interrogated, in which he gave much important information to the ED. On the basis of which action has been taken against these accused.
