Ranchi: Ranchi Police conducted a flag march on Tuesday regarding Ram Navami. A flag march was taken out from the main road of Ranchi under the leadership of Senior City SP Rajkumar Mehta and Kotwali DSP Prakash Soe, which went from Albert Ekka Chowk to Daily Market, Ekra Masjid, Karbala Chowk, Church Road.
During this time, a large number of police personnel were present along with in-charges of many police stations. Ranchi Police has made strict security arrangements regarding Ram Navami. Special care is being taken to ensure that there is no disturbance in the festival. For security reasons, three thousand security forces have been deployed in the city. Apart from this, arrangements have been made for surveillance through drone cameras and CCTV cameras during the Ram Navami procession.
Ranchi Police has appealed to the people to celebrate the festival in a peaceful manner. The police are keeping a close watch on anti-social elements. If anyone is found trying to spoil the atmosphere, strict action will be taken against him. People spreading rumours on social media have also been warned.
