Rain brought relief from heat in Jharkhand, mercury dropped by 10 degrees

Ranchi: The weather has taken a turn due to rain in Jharkhand. After the rain in Jharkhand, people have got relief from the heat. A drop of 10 degrees Celsius was recorded in the maximum temperature. The maximum drop in temperature was 10.4 degrees in West Singhbhum. A drop of 8 degrees was recorded in Jamshedpur and 6.6 degrees in the capital Ranchi. Recently, the maximum temperature in many districts of Jharkhand has crossed 40 degrees.

In the last 24 hours, light rainfall occurred at some places in the state. Highest rainfall of 5.4 mm was recorded in Simdega. The highest temperature of 40.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Godda while the lowest minimum temperature of 19.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Garhwa.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a drop of 3 to 4 degrees in the maximum temperature in the state during the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the state from April 6 to 12.

On April 9, there will be light rain and thunder at isolated places in the western parts of the state along with strong wind blowing at a speed of 30-40 km per hour and there are also chances of thunderstorms. There is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the southern and central parts of the state from April 10 to 12.
