Ranchi/Godda:  BJP candidate from Godda Nishikant Dubey is full of confidence. They are also confident of their victory. He said that election campaigning is only to pass time. During elections, I will be seen drinking tea or  playing cricket somewhere. The reason for this is that the opposition does not have any strong leader. If JMM gives any candidate then they will not campaign. Even if Congress makes Pradeep Yadav a candidate, he will not campaign. We will go straight to get the results.

After filing the forms, they will go directly to collect the results on the election results day. I have defeated Pradeep Yadav many times. Once again, there will be no need to work hard to defeat him. If any other candidate comes from Congress then he will contest the election. He said that I am receiving information that JMM can field a candidate from Godda. There is no candidate in Jharkhand Mukti Morcha against BJP candidate Sita Soren.

To my knowledge, JMM leaders Stephen Marandi and Nalin Soren have refused to contest the elections. Leaders of his own party are talking about Hemant Soren not contesting either. Kalpana Soren wants to replace Champai Soren by becoming the Chief Minister, hence she will contest the Gandey Assembly by-election. In such a situation, no candidate is visible.

He said with full confidence that the deposits of any candidate who will stand against Sita Soren will be confiscated. Nishikant Dubey appeared in Dumka MP MLA Special Court in three cases. One case in this was of Baba Mandir police station of Deoghar. His wife was also an accused in this. In which he was accused of a dispute with the General Secretary of Panda Dharma Rakshini Sabha in Baba Temple. In this case, a mutual settlement was reached between both the parties and they were acquitted from the case.

The second case was of Madhupur police station area, where there was a dispute regarding tying of flags in the Madhupur assembly by-election. In this case, the court has given the date of April 6 for the next hearing, another case was also related to violation of code of conduct.
