Ranchi: Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu reached the ED office on Airport Road on Sunday. After which ED officials started interrogating him. Earlier on Saturday also, ED had interrogated Dheeraj Sahu for about 11 hours. He was questioned regarding the BMW car recovered from the Delhi residence of former CM Hemant Soren.
When Dheeraj Sahu came out of the ED office after interrogation, the media surrounded him and asked questions. Regarding the BMW car, he said that the car found from Hemant Soren's residence in Delhi does not belong to Hemant Soren. However, MP Dheeraj Sahu did not answer most of the media questions.
In the money laundering case related to former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, ED had summoned Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu and asked him to appear in the zonal office of Ranchi on February 10 at 11 am. After which MP Dheeraj Sahu reached the ED office on time.
In the entire investigation, ED has found that the BMW which was seized during the raid at Hemant Soren's residence in Delhi on January 29, is related to Dheeraj Sahu. Dheeraj Sahu's family has a stake in the Haryana Company in whose name the vehicle is registered. ED suspects that this car has been given to Hemant Soren as a gift.
