On the initiative of Jagarnath Mahto, 1932 was passed in cabinet and it will be kept alive at all costs: Chief Minister

Bokaro: Chief Minister Hemant Soren who reached Alargo in Chandrapura to participate in Jaggarnath Mahto’s Shradh program said that along with the family, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha too has suffered a major loss following the demise of Jaggarnath Da.

Due to the departure of Jagarnath Mahto, the party has suffered a huge loss, which is impossible to compensate as no one can take his place now he said while talking to reporters here. He said that
along with his thoughts and dreams, his name will also be kept immortal. 

Answering the question asked about Khatiyaan of 1932, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that on the initiative of Jaggarnath Da, the proposal of Khatiyaan of 1932 has been passed once again in the cabinet, it will be kept alive at all costs. At the same time state Congress state president Rajesh Thakur said that the wish of Jagannath Mahato, that the people of Jharkhand should get rights in Jharkhand, will be fulfilled.

He said that dream of Jagarnath Mahto of having a 1932 Khatiyaan-based local policy being implemented in the state will be fulfilled in any case. He said that some people are spreading confusion. Apart from Hemant Soren’s government, the local policy based on 1932 cannot be implemented in the state.

On the other hand, Akhilesh Mahato alias Raju Mahato, son of the late Jaggarnath Mahto, said that it has become his duty to fulfill whatever his father’s dream was.

During this, Ministers Banna Gupta and Mithlesh Thakur, Jamtara MLA Irfan Ansari, Minister Hafizul Hasan, Giridih MP Chandraprakash Chowdhary, Jharia MLA Purnima Singh, Gomia MLA Lambodar Mahto, Ramgarh MLA Sunita Chowdhary, Congress State President Rajesh Thakur, former MLA Mamta Devi, Yogendra Prasad Mahto were also present
