Deoghar SP Reviews Crime Control, Pending Cases and Festival Security

Deoghar: Superintendent of Police Praveen Pushkar reviewed crime control, law and order, and preparations for the upcoming Durga Puja and Dussehra festivals at the monthly crime review meeting held at the SP’s office on Thursday.The meeting was attended by police station in-charges, circle inspectors, sub-divisional police officers and other police officials from across the district.SP issued directions for the speedy disposal of pending cases and stronger action against cybercrime, drug-related offences and vehicle theft. He also stressed effective handling of crimes against women and children, improved Dial-112 emergency response and better traffic management.The meeting reviewed security arrangements and measures to maintain law and order during the festive period.Police officials who performed exceptionally well during the previous month were presented with certificates of appreciation.
