Now the government’s voice, vision and plans are reaching every village: Hemant Soren, Chief Minister

Sahibganj: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday inaugurated the Measles-Rubella special vaccination campaign from Bhognadih, the holy land of Amar Shaheed Sido-Kanhu and campaign to connect members with Pax-Lamps under the newly formed Sido-Kanhu State Cooperative Union.

On this occasion, he gifted 2080 schemes to the Sahibganj district and distributed assets among the people to empower the beneficiaries. The Chief Minister also handed over the keys of four bike ambulances for remote and hilly areas of the district. In the program organized on Sido Kanhu Jayanti, the Chief Minister said that the government is committed for the progress of the state and its people.

He said that now the voice, vision and schemes of the government are reaching every village. Earlier, plans used to be made in air-conditioned offices and ended there as well. But, after the formation of a separate Jharkhand state, his government has worked to change this practice which has been going on for the last two decades. Now by setting up camps in panchayats, an army of officers is reaching at the doorstep with schemes and their problems are being solved.

The Chief Minister said that now by communicating with the villagers through techniques they will listen to their problems and solve them. He said that at present, during field visits, he meets people and listens to them and now more and more people will be connected together through technology and LED van will also be used for this.

Hemant Soren said that the government is committed to remove the miseries of the common people. Apart from this, camps are being organized for the information of welfare schemes to reach every house and now publicity will be spread in a planned manner. He said that now agriculture and forest produce will get fair price along with the market.

For this, the MSP of these products will also be fixed and for this the government has formed the Sido Kanhu Agriculture and Forest Produce Association. For this, Pax-Lamps are being given financial strength. In this episode, the membership campaign for Pax lamps is starting from today after which the products will be bought by Pax-Lamps which will give a fair price and market to their products.

The Chief Minister also said that work is being done to make the products of women self-help groups available in the market through the Palash brand. The Chief Minister told the government officials and employees that they should fulfill the responsibility of taking the schemes to the last person of the society with full sincerity. He said that they have an important responsibility in putting the plans on the ground. With everyone’s efforts, the state can be placed in the category of developed states. 

The Chief Minister also said that there are schemes for every class and section and people should take advantage of it. The government is constantly making efforts in this direction to provide better and quality education to the boys and girls studying in the government schools of the state. The Chief Minister said that the amount of scholarship has been increased. Apart from this, the government has also started the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana.

At the same time, model schools have been developed to provide education to children on the lines of private schools. Now the government is giving financial assistance to the boys and girls here for preparing for various competitive examinations and for studying medical engineering etc.

Member of Parliament Vijay Hansda, Zilla Parishad President Monika Tudu, Registrar, Cooperative Societies Mrityunjay Barnwal, and several officers of district administration including Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Godda district were present in the programme.
