‘Mukhyamantri Sarathi Yojana’ to be launched soon announces CM

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday announced that the state government will soon launch Mukhyamantri Sarathi Yojana and assured to extend all necessary support to the students of the state who are preparing
for various competitive exams. 

Addressing a function in which 26 candidates from Jharkhand who had cracked UPSC 2021 were felicitated he said that under the scheme such students hailing from all communities will not be able to afford the coaching fee for UPSC JPSC and other competitive exams for them the state government will bear the cost of preparations.

He said that Jharkhand is the first state in the country where the state government is providing scholarships to the students to study in abroad and going into the future the ambit of the scheme will be expanded so that more students from the state can go abroad and study.

He said that the state government is taking
all necessary steps to improve the standard of education in the state and efforts are on to make the government schools on par with the private schools. He said that 26 students from Jharkhand have cracked UPSC 2021 which is an indication that despite all the odds and with limited resources, the students from the state have the courage to move forward. He said that after it emerged that 26 students had got success in the exam across the nation talks of their success started.

Hemant said that while on one hand, the family members were happy on the other hand in project building also the success was celebrated in different ways. He said that senior officials from Jharkhand are working in the PMO and other important departments and in various other states of the country.

He points out that Netarhaat school has given many IAS, IPS to the nation and said that when the candidates will go into their respective fields of work they might face the adverse situation but in such circumstances also they will work with the full dedication he had full belief as wherever people of Jharkhand have gone to work they have made a name for themselves.

He said that Jharkhand is such a state where the forefathers first fought to save their land forest and water even before the war of Independence began.

The Chief Minister said that recently the state government has announced the tourism policy as it wants to make Jharkhand known for its natural wealth and not only minerals. He said that Jharkhand has always attracted tourists and to increase the flow the government is working with dedication to maintain proper law and order.

He said that candidates from LWE districts have gone to become IAS and IPS. The Chief Minister said all the successful candidates will also have an important role to play in the all-around development of Jharkhand and asked them to give their suggestions for the betterment of the state.

Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Higher and Technical Education KK Khandelwal, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajeev Arun Ekka and Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey were also present on the occasion.
