Rain brings some relief in capital, no relief from heat wave in Palamu division

Ranchi: Some areas of the capital received moderate rainfall on Tuesday providing much-needed relief to the people battling heat and humidity. While some parts of neighbouring districts of Gumla, Latehar, and Lohardaga also received light to moderate rain.

Going forward there is a possibility of thunder and lightning while strong wind can also be seen at some places whose speed will be 30 to 40 km per hour.

The Ranchi Meteorological Center said that at present the maximum temperature will not decrease. For the next five days, the maximum temperature of Ranchi can remain between 30 to 38 degrees while the minimum temperature is likely to be between 24 to 27 degrees.

Due to the heat, the condition of the people of the western and central areas of the state is very bad.
