BJP MLA Ramchandra Chandravanshi awarded best MLA for 2021

Ranchi: Senior BJP MLA from Vishrampur Ramchandra Chandravanshi was awarded as the best MLA of the Jharkhand Vidhansabha for the year 2021.

On the occasion of the 21st foundation year celebrations of the Jharkhand Assembly on Monday Governor Ramesh Bais gave away the award to the MLA.

Apart from Ramchandra Chandravanshi, five other officials and staff of the Vidhansabha were also felicitated as best assembly employees. Among those included Ramkishun Das Joint Secretary, Nilesh Kumar Singh Assistant Secretary, Roshan Kido and Subhash Kumar (both branch officers) and Umesh Kumar Gupta, Peon. The officers and staff were given awards by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Apart from that teachers who had received national award, kin of the martyr jawans of state and paramilitary forces and army who laid down their lives in the line of service were also felicitated during the function.

For better performance in vaccination work for Covid-19 the DCs of East Singhbhum, Ranchi and Ramgarh were also honoured in the programme. Women players representing in different sports including hockey, archery and football were felicitated in the event.

Those who also graced the function included Parliamentary Affairs Minister Alamgir Aalam, Cabinet ministers Jaggarnath Mahto, Joba Manjhi, Hafizul Hasan, Mithlesh Thakur, Rameshwar Oraon, Banna Gupta, Badal and Satyanand Bhokta. Many MLAs of the JMM, Congress and those from the BJP were also present in the programme.
