Light rainfall to continue in state till August 7

Ranchi: It seems that there will be no respite from the rains in near future as light to medium range of rainfall has been predicted in the state till August 7.

According to the local MET department, cloud cover will remain in the state capital and adjoining areas and during the period in one or two spells rainfall will take place during which thundering and lightning have been also predicted.

As per the predictions of the weather department rainfall has lessened in the state however as the low-pressure cyclonic zone was prevailing therefore in one or two areas light to medium range of rainfall took place.

Scientists at the local weather station said that the impact of the cyclonic zone has weakened however going forward the districts of Ranchi, Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar, Chatra, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Khunti, Simdega, Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh and Kodeema light to medium range of rainfall will take place.
