CM sanctions Rs 700 crore for payment of teachers in upgraded high schools

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has approved a sum of Rs 700 crore for providing payment to teachers and other staff of upgraded high schools of the state.

A proposal in this regard was given by the School Education and Literacy Department.

Further, the Chief Minister has approved a sum of Rs 191 crore for payment of wages to teachers and other staff who have been appointed in minorities middle school. The funds are for the year 2021-22.

The Chief Minister has approved a sum of Rs 5.10 crore for teachers and other staff of the Sanskrit Schoold while sum of Rs 58.85 crore has been sanctioned for Madrassa teachers.
