Weather watch: Cloud cover and rains predicted on Ramnavmi

Ranchi: If the words of the weather department are to be believed in most probability it is likely to rain in the capital during the festival of Ramnavmi which will be celebrated on Wednesday.

   The MET department has issued a yellow alert as per which in several areas of the state thundering and rainfall may take place during which winds are likely to blow at around 20-40 kilometers per hour.

   The weather is likely to remain the same on Thursday however from April 23 once again the weather will clear out. In the last 24 hours Ranchi had recorded a maximum temperature of 36.8 degrees while the minimum was at 21.1 degrees. The maximum moisture content in the air was 50 percent while the minimum was 26 percent.

  In the past 24 hours majority of the areas reported a bright sunshine however some regions also witnessed rainfall. Arki in Khunti district recorded a maximum rainfall of 1.2 mm. During this period Daltonganj was the hottest at 39.4 degrees and Bokaro was the coolest at 19.1 degrees.
