For last 20 years Jharkhand had been walking back-footed without any roadmap: Hemant Soren

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday said that for the last twenty years Jharkhand had been walking back-footed with no roads or destination.

Interacting with the press at the project building the Chief Minister said that his government was making the roads and was also ensuring that the destination is reached. The comments from the Chief Minister followed after he was asked about the age limit relaxation which has been approved in the Cabinet meeting for JPSC aspirants.

The Chief Minister said that JPSC for the first time after 1950-51 has got its own rules. He said that in 2016 the last JPSC exam was conducted and under the circumstances all the people are aware regarding what the educated youth of the state had to go through.

He said that whatever formula the government had to do things better have been tried and he exuded hope that the decision of the state government will help in realising the thoughts and the goals of the state government behind this decision.

The Chief Minister said that he wanted that the benefit of the decision should reach to the educated youth and extended his best wishes to all those candidates who try their luck in the examination.
