Corona vaccine to be administered across 180 centres of Ranchi district

Ranchi: The corona vaccine will be administered to the people across 180 vaccination centers in this district.

DC Chhavi Ranjan on Tuesday directed all the medical officers to work in coordination with the BDOs and has asked to make arrangements at the vaccination centers as per the guidelines.

The Ranchi district has a total of 18 blocks and in every block 10 vaccination centers will be made and at each such centre a five member team will be deputed which will consist of four vaccination officers and one vaccinator. Post the verification of the people their data will be entered in the CO-WIN portal. The people turning up at the vaccination centers will be identified through photo identity cards.

The DC also directed the officials concerned to make arrangements for logistics, toilets, water, power, internet, ambulance etc at the vaccination centers. On the other hand he also issued necessary instructions over setting up a helpdesk in vaccination center, waiting area, vaccination room, observation room. In the first the vaccination will be given to people who are part of three priority groups including first the health care workers, second the frontline workers and third people above 50 years.
