Planned conspiracy in attack on CM's convoy says DGP, warns of strict action

Ranchi: DGP MV Rao on Tuesday claimed that the attack on the convoy of Chief Minister Hemant Soren was a deliberate one and strict action will be taken against all those who were part of the act.

Talking to the press at the sidelines of a function he said that he will not tolerate such a type of 'goondagardi'. In a stern warning to the trouble mongers he said that those people are not able to understand the power of law. He went on to say that if the conspirators will indulge in such kinds of acts for the second time then their hands and legs will be broken at the same time.

The DGP said that it was a warning for the trouble makers as after going through the CCTV footage the anti-social elements are being identified and the process of their arresting has commenced. The DGP said that a lesson will be taught to those who conspire on the road and those who indulge in 'goondagardi' . He said that police will speak a language with such anti social elements which they will never forget in their lives.

Over the beheaded body of the girl which was found in Ormanjhi he said that so far rape has not been confirmed moreover the identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained. He said that it is being suspected that the girl was murdered at some other place and later her body was thrown in the area, however soon the case will be cracked, he said.

On Monday evening people who were protesting against the rape and murder of a girl whose body was found in Ormanjhi turned violet as they attacked a police vehicle which was escorting the carcade of Chief Minister. In the incident a policeman had sustained serious injuries and had been admitted at the hospital. Later the Chief Minister was taken to his residence via a diverted route.
