Lalu Yadav undergoes kidney test at Urology department

Ranchi: Jailed former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo LaluPrasad Yadav underwent a kidney test at the Urology department of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences here.

Lalu Yadav was brought in a wheelchair to the fifth floor of the Cardiology department where urologist Dr Arshad, Dr BC Rana Pratap, Radiologist Dr Suresh Toppo and Dr DK Jha (Medicine) examined him during which RIMS superintendent Dr Vivek Kashyap and policemen from Bariatu Police Station were present.

Earlier Dr Umesh Prasad had said that kidney related ailments of Mr Yadav were in the fourth stage as only 25 percent of the Kidney was functional and he could at any time need dialysis. On the other hand Dr Vivek Kashyap said that in wake of the kidney problem for performing ultrasound suggestions from the nephrologist were also taken.

The doctors treating Mr Yadav at RIMS said that only after the report comes they would be able to further chalk out the future course of medical action. Lalu Yadav remained in the urology department for an hour after which he was taken back to his paying ward.
