CM promises 10,000-15,000 new jobs by March 2021

Dumka: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday promised that 10,000-15,000 new jobs will be provided to the youth of the state by March 2021.

Addressing a press conference he said that the government has made up its plans to create employment on a large scale apart from that plans have been chalked out to link people with self employment as creation of employment opportunities feature on top of the agenda of the state government. He said that the officials have been assigned tasks to find out employment opportunities in every possible sector.

He said that on December 29 the government will complete one year in power and on that day many new schemes will be launched and people will be made aware regarding the achievements of the government. The Chief Minister said that all possible initiatives are being taken to fulfill the aspirations of the people and solve their problems.

The Chief Minister said that due to Coronavirus the first year in power has been quite challenging but despite that his government was able to roll out many new schemes. He said that under Mnrega three new schemes have been launched to create a higher number of man-days while a roadmap for development of the tourism sector has also been prepared  in which locals will be provided jobs. He said that the state government has set up separate schemes for the urban and rural areas as the government wanted to create employment opportunities for workers who have returned from other states.

Hemant Soren said that the entire world was grappling with Coronavirus due to which many activities have been hampered but despite all the odds the state government has been moving forward and taking steps to normalise life.

He said that despite limited resources not only the government managed to control Coronavirus but is also making efforts to take the state further on the path of progress.
