State level forest games conclude in Ranchi






Ranchi: A two day states level games were organised by the forest and environment department here which was attended by Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Sanjay Kumar. Dr Kumar who was present as the Chief Guest was given a guard of honour by women band of JAP-10 and forest guards from six regions participated in the March past. Following which 250 participants participated in different competitions in which 21 managed to win gold and another 16 silver medals. In hockey Ranchi emerged first. It was decided that a total of 80 athletes from the different sports would be sent to Raipur to represent Jharkhand in National Level Forest Games.
